Cancún Family Journey

Maya history, Caribbean blue and the care that helped us finish the journey.

THE STORY

A journey
worth remembering.

Cancún should have been all sunshine and sea, but a severe cold followed me into the trip. Thanks to my wife's patient care, we were still able to experience the ruins, beaches and family moments we had travelled so far to see.

01 · ARRIVAL

Paradise, with an unexpected fever

The Caribbean colours were every bit as vivid as imagined, even though I was feeling unwell. My wife quietly handled the details and made space for rest without letting the children lose their holiday.

02 · MAYA WORLD

Walking through an older Mexico

Ancient stone structures opened a window onto Maya history. Under the Yucatán sun, the scale and geometry of the ruins felt both mysterious and precise.

03 · FAMILY

The journey we finished together

By balancing recovery with gentle outings, we reached the end of the trip. What remains most vivid is not being sick, but being cared for.
